Welcome. Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to name it perfectly. If you’ve been carrying anxiety, depression, stress, a sense that you don’t measure up, or a feeling of being stuck in a world that doesn’t always make space for you, you’re in the right place. Bringing any of that into a therapy room takes courage. And that courage matters.

I believe the heart of good therapy is the relationship we build together. Getting to know the real you, not just “the presenting problem,” is what I care about most. I work from positive, anti-oppressive, and relational frameworks, drawing on Narrative therapy, DBT, Relational therapy, and parts work. My goal is to help you feel safe enough to speak honestly, and to support change that actually lasts.

Therapy can feel especially loaded if you’ve been over-diagnosed, misunderstood, or afraid of being judged. As a queer neurodivergent person, I understand this in more than a professional sense. You deserve a space where you’re seen without having to explain yourself first.

I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and am a registered member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Alongside my therapy practice, I teach at the post-secondary level in areas including social psychology, the psychology of creativity, and academic skills. I am currently completing a Doctor of Education in Diversity, Equity and Social Justice – work that is close to my heart. My focus is on the ways educational systems can cause harm that shows up later as mental health struggles, and how we might do better.

I have daytime availability for in-person and virtual sessions and am happy to help with referrals when needed. When you’re ready, I’d invite you to explore my services and approaches, or simply reach out with any questions. I’d love to meet you.

“The good life consists of deriving happiness by using your signature strengths every day in the main realms of living. The meaningful life adds one more component: using these same strengths to forward knowledge, power, or goodness.”
